Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Glide, you agree to these terms. Glide provides free, donation-funded rides to people with disabilities and adults 65 and over. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

There is never a fare, booking fee, or tip. Glide is funded entirely by voluntary donations. Because rides depend on donations and on available drivers in your area, we can't guarantee a ride will always be available at a given time or place.

Keep your password and phone secure, and give accurate information. Eligibility is self-declared at sign-up. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen; we may suspend accounts that are misused or that put riders or drivers at risk.

Glide's in-app SOS alerts our support team, but it is not a substitute for emergency services. In a life-threatening emergency, always call 911 (or your local emergency number) first. Treat your driver and fellow community members with respect; harassment, threats, or unsafe behavior may result in removal.

Drivers volunteer to give rides and must pass identity verification and a background check, keep a valid license and registration on file, and follow all traffic and accessibility laws. Drivers are independent — they are not employees of Glide.

Donations are voluntary and, except where required by law, non-refundable. 100% of donations go toward providing free rides. If you have a question about a donation, contact us.

We work hard to keep Glide safe and reliable, but the service is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glide is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

We may update these terms; we'll post the new date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Glide means you accept the updated terms.
